LGMA social media house rules and comments policy

The LGMA manages several social media accounts across different platforms, including for the LGMA, Local Authorities Ireland and Libraries Ireland. The following house rules and comments policy applies to all LGMA managed accounts and are designed to make engagements with our accounts an enjoyable and safe experience.

All comments, images, videos and any other type of material posted by followers on social media while interacting with the LGMA or our other managed accounts do not necessarily reflect the opinions or ideas of the LGMA or its employees. The LGMA is not responsible for any such content. In any event, all material posted on these pages must comply with terms of use as dictated by the relevant social media platform.

Any use of these pages or their content, including copying or storing them in whole or in part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the written permission of LGMA.

Third party adverts on or surrounding the social pages or accounts are not the responsibility of, or endorsed, by the LGMA.

We welcome all comments and constructive feedback. We reserve the right to remove any posts or comments that do not adhere to these house rules or to the terms of use as defined by relevant social media platforms. We ask that you post content that is respectful and relevant to the work of the LGMA or the local authority sector.
